You’ve seen the dolls. Now they have a house.

If you’ve got a kid who’s obsessed with L.O.L. Surprise! dolls, you already know the drill: tiny shoes, surprise eggs, and endless tiny accessories. Hippo Kids Games took that whole universe and dropped it into a digital clubhouse. The result? A place where your kid can dress up the dolls, decorate rooms, and play mini-games without losing any of those little plastic shoes under the couch.

The app is basically a virtual playset. You pick a doll, then you’re free to wander through different rooms—the kitchen, the bedroom, even a pool area. Each room has interactive spots. Tap the fridge, and the doll grabs a snack. Tap the bed, and she flops down for a nap. There’s no timer, no score, no pressure. It’s pure sandbox play. The mini-games are simple too: a memory card match, a dress-up challenge, a little obstacle course. Nothing that’ll frustrate a 5-year-old, but enough variety to keep them tapping for a while.

What surprised me is how much there actually is to do. You can change the doll’s outfit, hairstyle, and accessories. You can rearrange furniture. There are even little pets that wander around. The graphics are bright and cartoony, exactly like the toy packaging. It’s not trying to be a deep game. It’s trying to be a digital dollhouse, and it nails that.

One thing to note: there are ads. They pop up between activities, and occasionally a banner sits at the bottom. They’re not aggressive, but they’re there. If that bugs you, there’s a paid version that removes them. Also, the app is aimed squarely at the “up to 12” crowd. Older kids might find it too simple. But for the preschool to early elementary set, it’s a solid pick.

If your kid already hoards L.O.L. Surprise! toys, this app is an easy yes. It’s free, it’s safe, and it lets them play house without you stepping on a stray plastic shoe at 2 AM.
